Honeoye Lake

Honeoye Lake also called the Lying Finger, is the second smallest of the New York State Finger Lakes. 

This three-layer laser-engraved map of Honeoye Lake measures 11.75" x 15". The topmost layer, Walnut, frames the map.  The middle layer, high-quality maple plywood forms the base for the map and contains most of the engraving including roadways, route markers, township names, and a compass complete with Latitude and Longitude coordinates.  The middle layer also includes a 'to-scale' cut out of the lake to reveal the bottom blue layer with engraved contours showing the varying depths.

The map is treated with a 100% all-natural tung oil which brings out the color of the walnut and gives a rich golden color to the maple layer.  I've attached two metal hanger clips on the reverse of the map to make hanging it in your favorite spot a breeze.
