One-of-a-Kind Live Edge Cherry Coat Rack

Beautiful, one-of-a-kind live edge cherry coat rack, handcrafted from locally sourced cherry with a story behind every detail.

The cherry was obtained from an Amish sawmill, where it was part of a larger log that was sawn to my specifications. I personally dried and milled the boards, bringing out the natural character of the wood, including some beautiful burl figuring.

A hummingbird has been carefully inlaid into the cherry using black epoxy, adding a unique artistic touch while complementing the natural grain.

The coat hooks are repurposed railroad spikes that I had professionally bent at a local Mennonite metalworking shop. The combination of reclaimed metal and figured cherry gives this piece a distinctive rustic, handcrafted look.

A French-style cleat is included for secure and easy wall mounting — a $15 value.

Because of the solid wood construction and weight, local pickup is recommended, but I would be happy to ship it to the buyer if desired.
